….and the world remained silent….

For those of you who are not old enough to remember how it all started, here is a brief excerpt from The bushfire of Hindu rage (emphasis mine):

…For the benefit of those who have come of age in the last two decades, among them many of the 24×7 news channel anchors who talk utter gibberish while donning an air of supreme confidence to camouflage their limitless ignorance, let me recount the events of January 1990, which mark the beginning of the latest crusade against the Hindus of Jammu & Kashmir. Since ’secularists’ are allergic to events of the distant past, we need not go into the details of how Hindus were decapitated by the Sword of Islam wielded by the original Islamists. The present will suffice to highlight the duplicity of those whose hearts beat for the hate-India hordes in Kashmir.

Srinagar, January 4, 1990. Aftab, a local Urdu newspaper, publishes a Press release issued by Hizb-ul Mujahideen, set up by the Jamaat-e-Islami in 1989 to wage jihad for Jammu & Kashmir’s secession from India and accession to Pakistan, asking all Hindus to pack up and leave. Another local paper, Al Safa, repeats this expulsion order. In the following days, there is near chaos in the Kashmir Valley with then Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah and his National Conference Government abdicating all responsibilities. Masked men run amok, waving Kalashnikovs, shooting to kill and shouting anti-India slogans. Reports of killing of Hindus, invariably Kashmiri Pandits, begin to trickle in; there are explosions; inflammatory speeches are made from the pulpits of mosques, using public address systems meant for calling the faithful to prayers. A terrifying fear psychosis begins to take grip of Kashmiri Pandits.

Srinagar, January 19, 1990. Mr Jagmohan arrives to take charge as Governor. Mr Farooq Abdullah, whose pathetic, whimpering, snivelling Government has all but ceased to exist, resigns and goes into a sulk. Curfew is imposed as a first measure to restore some semblance of law and order. But it fails to have a deterrent effect. Throughout the day, Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front and Hizb-ul Mujahideen terrorists use public address systems at mosques to exhort people to defy curfew and take to the streets. Masked men, firing from their Kalashnikovs, march up and down, terrorising Pandits. As evening falls, the exhortations become louder and shriller. Three taped slogans are repeatedly played the whole night from mosques: “Kashmir mei agar rehna hai, Allah-hu-Akbar kehna hai” (If you want to stay in Kashmir, you have to say Allah-hu-Akbar); “Yahan kya chalega, Nizam-e-Mustafa” (What do we want here? Rule of shari’ah); “Asi gachchi Pakistan, batao roas te batanev san” (We want Pakistan along with Hindu women but without their men). As the night of January 19, 1990, wears itself out, despondency gives way to desperation. And tens of thousands of Kashmiri Pandits across the Valley take a painful decision: To flee their homeland to save their lives. Thus takes place a 20th century Exodus.

Their wounds, as also the wounds of Hindu India, have been festering for 18 years. The simmering anger of Hindus has now burst into a raging bush fire that threatens to burn to ashes media’s perverse notions of ’secularism’ and destroy the politics of Muslim appeasement.

I want to know where have the real indian muslims gone ?

the kashmiris protest, but the muslims living in rest of india, who far outnumber the kashmiris do not say a word. How can they see a part of their country being given to pakistan?

Where are the indian muslims when the OIC (organization of Islamic countries) dictates India on how to deal with kashmiri muslims ? Doesnt OIC know that India has a muslim population much more than many of them combined? Where are those muslims? Why do not they support India and humiliate the rest of nations who teach us about how to treat muslims?

Why is the muslim populace not showing any gratitude towards the millions of hindus who okayed their living in India at the time of partition?

Why r they ungreatful for the fact that today they have a quality of life much better than what their counterparts have in Pakistan?

I am reminded of an incident in Jordan few years back, when AlQaeda exploded bombs in Jordan and next day a huge muslim population came out in protest against Alqaeda.

When r we going to see a similar event in India ? Why doesnt the head of jama Masjid at delhi say something against kashmiri separatists or OIC or any muslims who explodes bombs in india?

Stop looking at hindus as your enemy,its a fact that most of terrorists are muslims, all I want to say is, some among you will have to stand up. Its your country. You need to save it.

The sudden explosion of violence in Jammu & Kashmir over the trivial matter of some 40 hectares of forest land clearly shows a deep communal divide that has its roots in history. The state, as we know it, comprises of three regions, which we have treated as one administered from Srinagar and Jammu. This is entirely because ever since the annexation of Punjab by the British in 1849 and its sale to Maharajah Gulab Singh, it has been treated by his descendants as a Dogra fiefdom till India attained its independence in 1947. It is time we took a good look at the ground realities, however unpalatable they be, and found a solution that will be acceptable to all three regions as well as to India and Pakistan.

The three regions are geographically divided into the Valley of Jhelum, Jammu and Ladakh. They are also distinct from each other in religion, language, and perception of their future. The people of the Valley are over 90 per cent Muslims, speak Kashmiri and demand azadi (freedom) without defining its full implications. The people of Jammu are predominantly Hindu, speak Dogri, Hindi or Punjabi. They definitely do not want the kind of azadi the people of the Valley clamour for. Nor do the Ladakhis, who are Buddhists and speak their own dialect.

The core of the problem is the demand for azadi by the Muslims of the Valley. It can be met without upsetting their relationship with India. It is too small and landlocked to become a sovereign, independent state. Its economy is largely dependent on India which is the only outlet for its agricultural produce (fruit, saffron etc), its handicrafts, carpets and shawls. Most of its tourists come from or through India. There cannot be, nor need be, any break in its relations with India. India should and must give the Valley complete autonomy to manage its internal affairs without meddling with the administration of Jammu and Ladakh. India must continue its military presence but only to guard its borders against infiltrators from Pakistan and no more.

If the people of the Valley are agreeable to this kind of a settlement, I am sure Pakistan will accept it as well. We have had enough of ill will and violence — it has gone on for far too long. It must be put to an end, and the sooner the better.

The Ramayanas, in a volume

Scholars of ancient Indian history are of the opinion that there are over 300 different versions of the epic in existence. However, they are agreed on the main episodes: the birth and upbringing of Sri Rama and Lakshmana in Ayodhya, Sri Rama’s marriage to Sita, their 14-year exile, abduction of Sita, her rescue and triumphal return to Ayodhya. This drama is enacted year after year as Dussehra in every village, town and city across our subcontinent. It is also usually the first story that mothers and grandmothers narrate to children. It is deeply embedded in the Indian psyche.

The version most widely accepted in northern India is the one narrated by Valmiki. In 1649, Rana Jagat Singh of Udaipur (Mewar) commissioned his court artists to paint a series of pictures depicting the entire story from beginning to end. The task took four years to be completed. It is our misfortune that the collection was sold to English connoisseurs and fragments are found in the British Library in London. It is also our good fortune that these fragments have been put together in collaboration with the British Library by Niyogi Books with a detailed introduction by the Indologist JP Lusty. So, we have a beautifully produced coffee-tabler: The Ramayana: Love & Valour in India’s Great Epic (Niyogi Books). I can’t think of a more suitable gift for growing children on their birthdays or on Diwali to make them aware of their heritage.

Barring politicians we have never divided our communities on the basis of religion. We have always respected your religion and you have respected ours.

We went to college together, school together, studied together, celebrated India's successes together, made money from stocks together, want to take India ahead together. It is time now do not let our faith in secularism, and our trust in you as our brothers, friends fade away.

Lets join hands together and bring the enemies of the country to end. We are Indians first then Hindu, Muslims, Sikh or Christan. Remember, we all used to sing this everyday.

You are right they do not come out openly in support of terrorists. But does that mean, an act of omission is not as serious a crime as one of commission. When you say only 1% muslims are terrorists, I want to bring your attention to related facts:
1. tip of iceberg. 1% of a sizeable population is millions.
2. Can these 1% muslims who are terrorists survive without the support of the 'innocent' muslims.

There is something wrong with the teachings of Islam. And until they recognize this, and execute remedial action on the teachings of kuran, Islam will always be a breeding ground for evil.

wherever muslims are in majority, muslims will openly come out on the streets to support the likes of Laskar-e-toiba, Osama bin laden, and other terrorists. In kashmir, the only state in India where they are in majority, terrorists are celebrated as heroes by the muslims.

Even before you tell me whats happening I know the truth and its a shame none of the hindu leaders took any action. Now the only way we can reverse it, is with revenge such that all those who want freedom from India will be given, but we will have to kill them for what they have done to pandits and wipe out. It will not take time for Indian to do that if we all make our mind, all we need is weapons in our hands and trucks to take us to the valley and to perticular towns and Kasmir will remain ours for ever. This is the price the majority (people following religions of Indian origin) has to pay for allowing people following a monotheistic religion (propunded by somebody who called himself Maha-mad) to stay on in this country even after the country was divided on the basis of religion. 1. Govt is a lame duck. They will continue appeasing politics & end up having more than 50% muslims say by 2050 & then the muslims will show their true colors as they have done in other parts of the world..including Pakistan, bangladesh, kashmir & by 2050 India..
2. HIndus are a coward tribe since last 2000 centuries...they have never conquered anything outside India..rather they always keep on fighting amongst themselves, backstabbing, Jaichand like people showed way to muslims in India for their own sake..Laloo & mulayam are current jaichands
3. Hindus are not a united folks even now..they will never support advani or modi 100%.
4. Hindus can kill Gandhi but they never had guts to kill JInnah.
5. VHP, MNS, Bajrang dal..who think as the fiercest amongst the hindus..become silent when something like BOMB blast happens..they are busy only targetting AMITABH BACchan..

There has been lot said and done in terms of anguish, pain and just mere observations. What has stand out as a common factor in all that is the fact that Indian government is indeed lacking a collective will and implementation of an accurate and well networked intelligence. What could be the apprehension and collective failure from the PM, HM and other stalwarts from the govt in command in India.?
1.) Intelligence(failure)
Analysis: Often touted as one of the most important branch in holding terrorist networks in their nest, we have repeatedly witnessed blasts after blasts of similar and some considerably of higher impact in last two years. In the last six months seven of the major Indian cities were targeted with well laid out plans. Did we lack enough information about any of these strikes. Not really, HM has confessed having intelligence of such deadly network and their operational efficiency.
2.) Security (in the city)
Analysis : Does exist, does not exist. In the national capital which is high on terror alert all the time, its only a matter of identifying the right spots to install CCTV's and follow them religiously not academically. Another measure of security comes from within. A strong community is the lifeline of any thriving nation or province or city. In our case, our communities are deeply divided based not on who they are, but based on who is their political leader. Gibberish from Yadavs and Paswans does not help people to look outwards and look at the national interest. Security is flawed in the Indian cities and next could be any of our major metros or who knows even B cities now. This fabric of caste divide and people divide is well entrenched and needs more than people will.
3.) Political Will vs. Government Will
Analysis: Political will would never lead to any decision to stop these barbaric events in the hearts of our cities. To expect the political leaders from regional parties and Congress to decide on a terror law without vote bank, would be like giving oneself a false assurance, yet again. Its a pity for our country that these guys are back in the business of deciding on our lives and futures citing 18th century observations of Hindu Muslim unity. Which simply does not exist within the small quarter of minorities in India.
A national consensus need not be developed for a terror law. We are all fed up, tired and emotional on losing family members, friends and our citizens one by one. 70,000 people are already dead with the tag of Terrorism Related Death around them.

I think most of these comments are puerile, simplistic analyses of the situation. As Khushwant Singh has said the Jhelum Valley should be given complete autonomy. Why dont we have a plebescite in Kashmir? You'll find that most of the Kashmiris (not foreign terrorists)will want an independent Kashmir. They know which side of their bread is buttered. They will have very cordial relations with India once this is done. This will also put an end to Pakistan's communal terrorist activities in the region. We are the world's largest democracy so why dont we give them the right of self-determination instead of wasting crores of money and sacrificing endless lives (both hindu and muslim) to keep it. Ladakh and Jammu will remain with us. Look at what is happening in Nepal. The Nepali PM is seeking India's co-operation not Pakistan's! The Kashmiri muslims have nothing in common with the Pakistanis other than their religion. Why dont we devote more time and money to developing the North-east. Why do we encourage state sponsored terrorism in Karnataka, Orissa, Gujarat, etc. Nobody asked us to misuse the caste system to oppress the Dalits. Why malign a whole community because of a few terrorists. What about atrocities committed by Bajrang Dal and VHP. Shall we then condemn all hindus as anti-national? This anti-muslim hype is played upon by certain fascist parties so that they appear as the savior of Hindus. Whose party was in power when the terrorists holed up in a religious place were fed biryani?. Please, be harsh and execute foreign terrorists when they are captured (no scope for bargaining if you execute them in the first place) but dont go on a rampage and condemn a whole community as terrorist. When you repeatedly harass them you are creating more terrorists. And, most of all dont get swayed by wht politicians and the media say. The News media is more about business than truth.

1. Dawood is a terrorist declared by USA, and is belived to have supplied the logistics for this operation. The world knows Dawood is in karachi, but the paki govt disagrees, cos he is a valuable asset to the ISI.

2. CIA gave the evidence of ISI involvement in the attack against the INDIAN embassy in kabul. What happened? Nothing.

3. INDIA will put all the evidence on the table. Pakistan is not going to accept it. Even if it did, it has no control over its ISI. The weak paki govt was forced to go back on its decision to send the ISI chief. (as if that would have yielded anything positive)


4. What evidence did USA present of Bin laden's involement in 9/11, but it attacked Afghanistan and Iraq, because it had might.

5. Pakistan has already started playing its game of chess. It has threatened to remove its focus from Afghansistan, if India puts pressure on the Eastern Sector. This is a pressure tactic on USA to put pressure on India to shut up.

CONCLUSION: Might is Right.

The only solution to this problem is to teach Pakistan a deadly lesson, which sends shivers down the spine of their of Indian muslim supporters. Something that their coming generations should have nightmares about.

PAK civil govt is weak and cannot control ISI. So the civil govt is not directly responsible.
ISI exploits this, and will continue to attack INDIA. This leaves very little choice.
NUKE pakistan and wipe pakistan from face of earth in one stroke. This will also send clear signal to indian muslim(99% of whom are terrorist sympathizers).
INDIA will have to make sacrifice to survive. The only other option is slow death.

1)Section 49-O in Constitution of India : I VOTE NOBODY
Did you know that there is a system in our constitution, as per the 1969 act, in section " 49-O" that a person can go to the polling booth, confirm his identity, get his finger marked and convey the presiding election officer that he doesn't want to vote anyone!
Yes such a feature is available, but obviously these seemingly notorious leaders have never disclosed it.
This is called "49-O".
Why should you go and say " I VOTE NOBODY"… because, in a ward, if a candidate wins, say by 123 votes, and that
particular ward has received "49-O" votes more than 123, then that polling will be cancelled and will have to be re-polled. Not only that, but the candidature of the contestants will be removed and they cannot contest the re-polling, since people had already expressed their decision on them. This would bring fear into parties and hence look for genuine candidates for their parties for election. This would change the way; of our whole political system… it is seemingly surprising why the election commission has not revealed such a feature to the public….
Please spread this news to as many as you know…

Some Pakistani fools make a foolish claim. They say Pakistan ruled India for thousands of years and it will be same, soon again.

For their information, Pakistan did not rule India. At various points of history, Muslim invaders from other parts of the world invaded India, (as it was supposed to be the land of wealth and prosperity).

As for the Pakistani Muslims, they have nothing to do with those invaders of Mongol / Persian origins. Their ancestors were low caste, leather skinning, shit lifting poorest of the poor. They converted to Islam purely because of sword fear or their greed to earn some extra coins.

So Paki Muslims should not croak, and shave their goat beard to look like proper human beings.

This is unbelievable truth.
"The Moghul Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal built the Taj Mahal. It was built in 22 years (1631 to 1653) by 20,000 artisans brought to India from all over the world. Many people believe Ustad Isa of Iran designed it." This is what your guide probably told you if you ever visited the Taj Mahal. This is the same story I read in my history
book as a student in India.

No one has ever challenged it except Professor P.N. Oak, who believes the whole world has been duped. In his book Taj Mahal: The True Story, Oak says the Taj Mahal is not Queen Mumtaz Mahal's tomb but an ancient Hindu temple palace of Lord Shiva (then known as Tejo Mahalaya).

In the course of his research, Oak discovered the Shiva temple palace was usurped by Shah Jahan from then Maharaja of Jaipur, Jai Singh. Shah Jahan then remodeled the palace into his wife's memorial. In his own court chronicle, Badshahnama, Shah Jahan admits that an exceptionally beautiful grand mansion in Agra was taken from Jai Singh for Mumtaz's burial.

The ex-Maharaja of Jaipur still retains in his secret collection two orders from Shah Jahan for surrendering the Taj building. Using captured temples and mansions, as a burial place for dead courtiers and royalty was a common practice among Muslim rulers. For example, Humayun, Akbar, Etmud-ud-Daula and Safdarjung are all buried in such mansions. Oak's inquiries begin with the name Taj Mahal. He says this term does not occur in any Moghul court papers or chronicles, even after ShahJahan's time. The term "Mahal" has never been used for a building in any of the Muslim countries, from Afghanistan to Algeria.

"The unusual explanation that the term Taj Mahal derives from Mumtaz Mahal is illogical in at least two respects. Firstly, her name was never Mumtaz Mahal but Mumtaz-ul-Zamani," he writes. "Secondly, one cannot omit the first three letters 'Mum' from a woman's name to derive the remainder as the name for the building." Taj Mahal, he claims, is a corrupt version of Tejo-Mahalaya, or the Shiva's Palace. Oak also says the love story of Mumtaz and Shah Jahan is a fairy tale created court sycophants, blundering historians and sloppy archaeologists.

Not a single royal chronicle of Shah Jahan's time corroborates the love story. Furthermore, Oak cites several documents suggesting the Taj Mahal predates Shah Jahan's era, and was a temple palace dedicated to Shiva worshipped by the Rajputs of Agra city. For example, Professor Marvin Miller of New York took a few samples from the riverside doorway of the Taj. Carbon dating tests revealed that the door was 300 years older than Shah Jahan.

European traveler Johan Albert Mandelslo, who visited Agra in 1638(only seven years after Mumtaz's death), describes the life of the city in his memoirs. But he makes no reference to the Taj Mahal being built. The writings of Peter Mundy, an English visitor to Agra within a year of Mumtaz's death, also suggest the Taj was a noteworthy building long well before Shah Jahan's time. Oak points out a number of design and architectural inconsistencies that support the belief of the Taj Mahal being a typical Hindu temple rather than a mausoleum.
Many rooms in the Taj Mahal have remained sealed since Shah Jahan's time, and are still inaccessible to the public. Oak asserts they contain a headless statue of Shiva and other objects commonly used for worship rituals in Hindu temples. Fearing political backlash, Indira Gandhi's government tried to have Oak's book withdrawn from the bookstores, and threatened the Indian publisher of the first edition with dire consequences. There is only one way to discredit or validate Oak's research. The current Indian government should open the sealed rooms of the Taj Mahal under UN supervision, and let international experts investigate
